Purpose for Processing Information
The purpose of holding and using contact information is to primarily arrange appointments, to announce and confirm bookings for special events and activities and/or – in response to requests – or for the benefit of existing contacts – provide news and information appertaining to Reflexology Plus® therapies and Spiritual Mindfulness services with Heaven’s Way®.
Basis for holding and using information
I follow the official guideline of my Associations to responsibly maintain records relating to my range of therapies/services. Such records are an aid-memoire for tailoring my working approach to a client’s appointment needs and monitoring treatment patterns and progress. Consent and Booking Forms (requiring full contact details) are also utilised for new clients and a variety of events/services. Depending on the context, if we are no longer working together on a regular basis, key notes are retained for 2-3 years in case a client wishes to re-apply/return in the future – if not, these are eventually shredded.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your right to privacy and confidentiality is respected and I see this as an essential criterion of my business. Newsletters are distributed via Mailchimp and therefore their Privacy policies would apply. Emails are never shared without permission and confidential material is stored away in my filing systems. However, whilst I take every precaution to be responsible, I cannot guarantee against misuse by unauthorised access e.g. hacking and theft or virus infection. For ethical, therapeutic and efficiency reasons, it is important that clients please let me know of any change of circumstances and contact details. For my part I would ask that all clients and contacts please respect copyright regarding my website and its contents.
